Science: Generator Project
The Generator Project is due Wednesday, March 9th. Here are some diagrams to help. Also, go to the links page, scroll all the way down, to Alternative Resources, and visit the Wind Energy and Generator Links for more information and videos. Your generator does not have to work. You just need to make a model of one. However, if you can/would like to, you can make a working generator for extra credit and do so in a group of no more than three students (to help with cost and time). Here is a helpful link on how to make a working generator with copper wire, nail, magnet, cardboard, and a light bulb:
How to Make a Generator
What is a Generator Start at :28 (How does a generator work and what's the difference between a generator and a motor)
