The two types of microscopes we have in our room are a Dissecting Microscope and the Compound Microscope. Megan was the first one to find a tardigrade which is very exciting! It was hard work and needed sharp focus but we finally did it! Tardigrades the toughest animal on earth Tardigrades can be found in moss which can grow on trees .So you can find them any were in the world!They can even live in Antartica! Also they can live up to 100 plus years!!There is a interesting state that they can turn into called cryptobiosis were nothing can kill them . They can even live in space!!! To get out of cryptobiosis just pour water on them. Tardigrades are also known as moss piglets or bears of the moss.They have eight legs and are very chubby. As you can see they are very cute. But if you imagine them the size of a dog that is pretty scary!!
